The Center for the Study of Issues in Public Mental Health was dedicated to developing and conducting research within the context of a rigorous research program strongly influenced by the requirements of a public mental health system and, in turn, influential in the development of policy and practice in mental health programming and service delivery. .

Research studies within the Center aimed at increasing our knowledge of how best to organize, deliver, evaluate and finance services for adults with severe mental illness and to provide relevant, timely information for the development of effective mental health policy. Studies were organized within the four core areas listed below. Projects may be accessed either by clicking the appropriate research core, selecting a research topic, or using the search engine.
