The Center for the Study of Issues in Public Mental Health is dedicated to developing and conducting research within the context of a rigorous research program that is strongly influenced by the requirements of a public mental health system and, in turn, influences the development of policy and practice in this arena.
Research studies within the Center are aimed at increasing our knowledge of how best to organize, deliver, evaluate and finance services for adults with severe mental illness and to provide relevant, timely information for the development of effective mental health policy. Studies are organized within the four core areas listed below. Projects may be accessed either by clicking the appropriate research core, selecting a research topic, or using the search engine.
