The
Center for the Study of Issues in Public Mental Health promotes
the integration of research, policy and practice in public mental health.
The Center was funded in September 1993 under a grant from the National
Institute of Mental Health that continued through August 2005. This
web-site is being maintained as an archive of the many projects, conferences,
publications and other activities of this Center that were produced during
this period. The
Statistics
and Services Research Division at the Nathan Kline Institue will continue
its endeavors in recovery focused services research. A proposal for a
new Center grant is underway.
The Center is a collaboration
of:
- New York State Office
of Mental Health - Central Office
- The Nathan S. Kline Institute
for Psychiatric Research
- Nelson A. Rockefeller
College of Public Affairs and Policy of the University of Albany, State
University of New York
- Robert F. Wagner Graduate
School of Public Service, New York University
